Some shops double as a roleplay shop as well as an OOC vendor space.
You can purchase actual products and even some exclusives at these select locations.
These OOC vendor spaces are free to select sponsored vendors.
To apply as an OOC vendor please apply directly to Nix Starchild / Nix Starlight with a portfolio.
If you’d like to own an existing business, please use the form below. These cost no money to have. To learn about a business, you may click their signs in world as well as submit notecards to their mailboxes for the owners.
There are also business rentals you may rent and create a new business. Please see the rentals page for more information.
Guilds will grant entry to any and all so long as they do not create problems for the guild. Guilds as a single entity will not take sides in political conflict while individuals within may.
The following businesses and employment opportunities are segmented by location.
To assume work at an owned location, please apply directly to the owner. If no owner is present or there is an NPC, you may simply presume work at the location by clicking the ‘Now Hiring’ sign. You may also find independent opportunities in the HUD.
Children 12+ may work part-time.
In character, only business owners pay tax to the Crowns.

Cailean Militia
Although it is allowed to own a business or work elsewhere while in the militia, it is not recommended. The militia wages are feasibly enough to support a family.

Militia Commander: The chief military authority overseeing the entirety of the armed forces.
+10 to Attack rolls.
Knights:
Knight Captain: The highest-ranking knight, responsible for leading and coordinating knightly units. +7 to Attack rolls.
Knight: A fully trained and honored warrior, often holding a noble title and duties beyond combat. +5 to Attack rolls.
Knight Squire: A trainee or apprentice, serving a knight while learning the ways of knighthood.
Guards:
Inquisitor: A position that is equal to the Sergeant. They question people and perform investigations on behalf of the Crown and guard. +7 to Attack rolls.
Guard Sergeant: Chief officer in charge of the castle or city’s security and the management of all guards. +7 to Attack rolls.
Guard: Regular protector of the castle or city, trained in maintaining peace and security. +5 to Attack rolls.
Guard Trainee: A novice learning the duties and skills necessary to become a full-fledged guard.

Astrium Guilds & Factions
Applications for guild or faction leads are given priority to players in good standing and are regulars on the sim. You may apply to run a faction or guild through the faction request form.
How to get your name out there? Post on the discord, send in world notices, recruit players through RP, and using the tavern message board… there are many ways to build up your guild or faction! You do not need to be officially endorsed in order to exist. Those that apply that meet the criteria will be posted here.

Application Policy
- Player must have been on sim for at least 2 weeks before applying to any place that does not have a board to click for employment or ownership of establishments. Use this time to get to know the sim and decide if it’s right for you.
- Player must have been RPing as an employee / guild member / faction member for at least 2 weeks before applying for ownership of any place.
- All faction / guild leads and business owners must be in good standing to qualify.
- All faction / guild leads and business owners will have a one month probation period after approval in which they must show that they are active and doing well within the scope of their position. This may include but is not limited to hosting events, sales, RPing at the shop, advertising their faction / guild / business, etc.
