Learn magic and test your skills at Arcana Academy!
Arcana Academy is located in Eilienaxa, the Capital City of Cailean.
The School:
A school of magic! Come, be a part of the new generation of mages and wizards and learn from some of the best arcane spell casters in Astrium!
Featuring a fantastic greenhouse, several schools of magic to learn about in the classrooms, Dorm rooms for the younger students to reside in and receive meals, and quick access portals to get around inside the school; the Cailean Arcana Academy is the premier location to go in Astrium to hone your magic skills!
The Academy has a tower in every major city. Through these towers, the Academy is connected by portals. The actual building remains inside a pocket space.
All students are welcome, no matter where they come from.
The Cailean Arcana Academy is Astrium’s Magic School, whose students learn about the various Schools of Magic, and a variety of spells relating to them (based around the common listing recognized by DnD 5e, Pathfinder 2e, as well as a variety of homebrew spells made by players).
The classes held by the Academy’s Professors are primarily focused towards the Arcane side of spell casting. The school may work in junction with other guilds such as the Eledhwarden Druids, The Healers, or the Clerics guilds.
The Academy teaches all ages from five years old to elderly adults. Magic may develop at any age, and as such, enrollment and classes are open to all age groups.
Children under 5 are taught meditation and control at the Youth Home as part of their early studies. Kindergarten and daycare is included!
All classes are free for drop-in, but to retain a dorm room you must be a registered student and active for at least 2 weeks. To apply as a student contact your Head Master using the mailbox outside of the Academy building. There are no requirements to apply.

These classes are primarily based on teaching spells and skills found within the D&D 5E and Pathfinder 2E Schools of Magic, though some classes may include homebrew or freeform spells. Outside of the classroom, people may continue to use freeform and homebrew as they wish.
Remember: Spells cast outside the classroom, that have any significant impact on RP, or are spells performed on yourself (such as ‘Disguise Self’), require a roll of 50+ on the blue dice to succeed. Spells cast against another player require the Attack dice (sword icon) or the Against roll dice (yellow dice icon). For further information on this please see the Combat and Magic page.
Attending classes earns XP, and overall is a fun experience for all involved!

Dorms are sorted by age groups. 6 – 12 years old and 13 – 18.
To qualify for a dorm bed you must register for Arcana Academy through a staff member and attend at least two classes. If you do not attend after, you will lose your bed to someone who does and wants the bed.
Meals are served in the dorms by the kitchen staff and served free of charge. After hours snacks and such however must be paid for.
