Quick Start Guide
Where are we?
The RP starts in the Crown City of Eilienaxa, located within the Kingdom of Cailean or in the Underdark Crown City of the Kingdom of Miycester. Astrium is the continent which is surrounded by the Mists of Fate. As of the year 2025 on Earth, it is the year 8102 in Astrium.
Is there an application?
Not at all! Just review the rules and jump right in!
What style of RP do we play here?
Anywhere from paragraph RP to casual one liners. We also have a variety of topics for you to play with including drama, political, intense, or casual light story.
What lore do I need to know? There’s so much!
Astrium was built so you need minimal information to really start into the world. You don’t even need to know the name of the city or world to jump right in! Thanks to the mists of fate, people have a tendency of dropping in from other worlds without any idea where they are.
That being said, check out the race list, rules, mists of fate lore, and HUD guide… then you’re ready to go!
I’m not a Dream Weaver or staff, but I have ideas for events.
That’s fantastic! If you’re an active RPer on sim, just drop an application and we’ll help you set up. You can even post your own notices to the discord, in world calendar, and the in world group. We also allow players to host OOC events such as classes, live performances, and movie nights!
Do we turn in RP logs?
Nope! Not necessary here.
How do I get involved in the RP?
Just walk up to anyone on sim and start! But if you need some ways to get a push…
- You can try working at any establishment that has a “For Hire” sign. Clicking these signs will either give you information on how to apply, or a tag that shows you’re an employee if there is no application.
- You can also join us at Arcana Academy.
- You can read the notices about the current story arc or join in events!
- Check out the rumour mill on Discord or perhaps the notice board outside the tavern.
- Host an event and gain XP!
- And if that doesn’t suit, you may also contact any staff member or Dream Weaver for help. We’re always happy to help you establish a character into the story!
Do we need the HUD?
The HUD is a sim experience you’ll need to accept to be able to teleport around the sim as well as to participate in combat and events. It’s a scripting limitation that some portals do not work without the HUD.

What are these signs for MyStory?
MyStory is an optional extra system that Astrium supports. Consider it very much like the Sims. To learn more about the MyStory experience at Astrium check out our page!
English is not my first language. Can I use a translator?
Absolutely. We accept people from all backgrounds. As long as you make an effort to be understood, that is all that is needed.
I don’t RP every day… is that okay?
Absolutely! No matter how often you are here, you are more than welcome.
